Avoid these people at all cost. If it was possible to give them a NEGATIVE rating, I would. My wife and I found this place on Expedia and booked a stay with Fleur de Lune. The hotel took a deposit of 1440 Euros in April 2017 for a Christmas getaway. In October of 2017, the hotel's website posted that they couldn't accommodate guests that Christmas due to hurricane damage and promised to refund our money. We made alternate plans for the holidays and when we started asking Fleur de Lune for our refund, they replied that they COULD accommodate us after all and invited us to come to assist in their rebuild. Seriously. My wife said, "No thank you, we'll take our refund, please". They simply ignored that request for more than a month. We have been emailing and calling them ever since, trying to get our refund. It's been over 3 months of constant emailing and calling these people with no refund in sight. Various people affiliated with this place including someone named Maryse (who we think might be the owner) and various employees (hard to keep track of them all) keep promising by email and on the phone to refund our money but of course this never happens. We have complained to Expedia and in response, Expedia's representative actually called the hotel to demand that they refund our deposit. The Expedia rep subsequently told us that something was "not quite right" about what they told him. In any event, even Expedia could not cajole these people to refund our deposit. The hotel claimed for a while that they couldn't refund our credit card because their credit card machine doesn't process refunds (a ridiculous and an obvious lie, one of many). Instead, they demanded my banking information, purportedly to make a wire transfer. I provided that information to them 3 times and they promised to make a money transfer but never did. Then they just stopped responding to emails and calls. We finally had no choice but to start a fraud investigation and make a claim with Amex to recover the money Maryse and Fleur de Lune stole from us. I wonder how all of this is legal. Beware.

We booked this hotel back in April for this coming New Years/holiday season based on their wonderful reviews, and were so excited to be visiting this island. However, following the hurricane that reportedly ravaged the surrounding area and the airport we would be flying into, I contacted the owners asking about the state of the hotel, and became concerned when I received no response to two emails in September. On October 3, I checked heir website and saw a big notice had been put up saying that the owners were cancelling all of the bookings for this winter as they just weren't able to host guests in the present state of the hotel and island. The notice also said that refunds would be issued shortly on all of the deposits... So I emailed 2 more times in October, asking when I could expect to see the refund of 1440 euro deposit. I received no answer from the hotel until the end of October, when the owner emailed to say that they had actually changed their mind and would NOT be cancelling the reservations because they needed the tourist money from the season to help rebuild. However, this hardly seems fair, and furthermore, in the weeks where I heard nothing, we scrambled to book another vacation for the holiday season. I've since emailed and called repeatedly asking about my deposit refund, but have received no response. None of this seems remotely fair or right. Has anyone had any luck contacting them or getting refunds for this season????
